The days of offline play have been replaced by online modes leading some to question Konami’s dedication to it’s original moneymaker. Fast forward ten or so years and you’ll notice that the landscape has changed. Combining solid gameplay and ahead-of-it’s-time AI both on and off the pitch, Master League provided a challenge to even the most savvy of PES players. From the glory days on the PS2, PES and Master League were the perfect marriage.
